Desert camping ctd....

Naomi is one of my partner at crimes at my work! She is such a fabulous lady! Here we are representing the stripes!
View from the boat....
More water pics!
Chad and I hanging onto our boat.
This was unbelievable. Our tour guide was explaining why they call some fish banana fish, and chicken fish... Literally... if you threw a piece of banana in the water the fish would come and eat it like crazy. This was in one area of the ocean, then when we arrived at another area, if you threw chicken in the water they ate it within 30 seconds. Unreal. I tried giving a piece of banana to a chicken fish... they didnt bite. ahah

Desert camping

A bunch of us from Dubai got together, to have an adventure in Oman DESERT camping. It was a great weekend, which is about 2.5 hour drive from Dubai. We went on a Dhow Cruise around Musandam, Oman, and this picture shows some Dolphins which were chasing our boat.
Chad and I enjoying the view. The water is stunning, and the mountains too! There was definitely no snow on these mountains.
The group snorkeling. We were the party animals of our boat.
OUR NEW CAR!!!!! a PAJERO!!! Its that white, 4 x 4 which is amazing driving in the sand! We are very proud owners. haha Not to mention, there is a cool box to keep drinks...
Cooking our food on the camp fire. And yes, the desert does get cold at night. It gets to be about 12 degrees... toque worthy out here... haha
